This high-end aluminum rim was developed for riders who want to embark on all-mountain adventures with light but stable wheels. Like all Newmen Evolution SL components, the rim consists of a high-strength aluminum alloy and impresses with first-class mechanical properties and low weight. 30mm internal width is an optimal combination between width and weight and allows lower tire pressure, which is reflected in better grip and more comfort. The flared and reinforced rim flanges are more resistant to damage from punctures and give the tire a rounder shape and thus even better cornering. The rim profile with the straight nipple contact surface is specially designed for the use of specially developed washers (MG washer) and ensures very high "spoke pull out" values with very low wall thickness in this area.
