The Mega 297 Carbon features an ultra-strong monocoque carbon fibre construction equipped with a Fast Suspension Fenix EVO Enduro rear shock. This full-suspension enduro race frame offers the best of both modern wheel sizes for an outstanding balance of agility, control and efficiency with plush and responsive coil suspension performance.
Ideal for speeding across unpredictable terrain, loose and wet conditions and steep technical climbs and descents, the Mega frame is designed with enduro-optimised race-ready geometry with improved suspension kinematics and internally piped cable routing, making it ideal for handling the demands of enduro racing while also providing a clean, sleek and stylish finish.

Since 2009, the Nukeproof Mega has been in constant development to meet the demands of Nukeproof riders and customers alike. As a result, the Mega Carbon V4 frame is available for 27.5", 29" or new Mixed (Front 29"/Rear 27.5" wheel sizes) wheel setups, with each frame design tailored around each wheel size.

Full Suspension Carbon Fibre Enduro Race Frame
Engineered for optimised frame weight, strength and stiffness, the Mega Carbon frame features a T700/800 UD woven carbon fibre frameset (Front and rear Triangle). The carbon swingarms help reduce the unsprung weight at the rear of the bike - this helps improve suspension performance. All forged parts are made from 6061-T6 aluminium.
After winning four Enduro World Series Titles in three years, the V4 design is an evolution of Nukeproof's ultimate enduro bike. At the heart of the frame is the brand's revised suspension Kinematic, designed to be more subtle off the top, whilst remaining progressive and predictable. Anti-Squat is used to create an efficient pedalling bike that can be thrashed through technical terrain. The useable SAG range is also widened to allow riders to tune the suspension to the trails.

This dynamic saddle offset means that each frame size has a bespoke seat angle. In addition, the actual seat tube is shorter overall and offers a deeper maximum insert depth that allows a longer dropper post if required.

Fast Suspension has kept all the strengths of the Fenix with the VDP piston that gives incomparable comfort and track feedback. The adjustable low-speed, medium speed compression and the dedicated high-speed piston.
Fast focused their attention on the design of the EVO head for compatibility with more frame designs. And they also thought about making your life easier if you want to change your shock stroke without needing to open the shock thanks to the new spring retainer design.
